PicturePath™ Payment Policy

Each dealer's use of the PicturePath™ service is subject to the following policies. RTV reserves the right to update these policies at any time without notice.
By checking the "I agree to RTV PicturePath Policies" check-box on a service purchase page, you confirm that you have read the statements of these policies and agree with them.
Description of Services
Through its PicturePath™ relationship with Homestore, Inc, the operator of REALTOR.com®, RTV provides Dealers with the ability to distribute their virtual tours to the Homestore network of websites.
Guidelines for Posting to REALTOR.com®
RTV provides tours to REALTOR.com through its PicturePath link. Through this link RTV provides tours fully compliant with guidelines laid out by REALTOR.COM (see Advertising Guidelines on REALTOR.com below).
It is the Dealer’s responsibility to ensure the following:
- Only Residential Real Estate Tours (Tour key: "RE") are to be submitted through PicturePath.
- The tour is for a real estate listing represented by a licensed real estate broker or sale agent.
- The real estate agent is identified on the tour.
- The tour has a valid MLS number.
PicturePath Payment Terms
By purchasing this service you acknowledge that you have familiarized yourself with the features and benefits of this service and accept financial liability for the purchase.
● RTV Inc. is not responsible for any alterations in your or your client's preferences and will not refund either complete or partial cost of the purchase.
● Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or changed. Each order is processed immediately and is not eligible for refund or chargeback.
● Each dealer is responsible for all PicturePath™ services ordered from his/her account regardless of whether the purchase was made by the dealer, an employee, partner, spouse, or other representative.
● A fee of $22.95 will be charged the Dealer upon uploading the tour to Realtor.com. This charge will be collected through credit/debit card at the time of the tour upload to Realtor.com. If the real estate agent or brokerage has to subscribed to Realtor.com’s "Showcase" or "Enhanced" listing service, this $22.95 fee is waived. It is the Dealer’s responsibility to determine the status a particular listing prior to submitting a virtual tour to realtor.com. This can be accomplished by checking the listing on Realtor.com.
The given PicturePath™ Payment Policy is applied to all dealers or dealer representatives purchasing the PicturePath™ service, without exceptions.
Advertising Guidelines on REALTOR.com®
Overview
Homestore has contractual and implied responsibilities to assure all advertising complies with the National Association of REALTORS® objectives and business practices. The business rules that follow define the parameters for advertising in Virtual Tours and other 3rd party hosted links on REALTOR.com®. Compliance with these rules should assure appropriate expectations on behalf of all of our partners.
Key concerns include:
- No FSBO’s (For Sale By Owners) are on the site. Ads that promote or link to FSBO’s are prohibited. This includes any information that refer to property for lease or sale directly by the owner without assistance of a licensed real estate broker or salesperson.
- No controversial ads. Ads that relate to a sensitive area in the Real Estate Industry, a current event that consumers might find offensive, or a new agreement with a partner are not allowed.
- No ads for Restricted Advertisers are displayed on a page that has a single property listing. These Ads are generally real estate related advertisers on Virtual Tours or 3rd party links spawned from pages with a single listing. Unless it can be proven that the advertisement within a given Virtual Tour or 3rd party link is either agent or broker authorized these are prohibited.
- No referral fees are to be charged to the REALTORS®. Ads with referral fees, or links to places where there are referral fees are prohibited.
- No links off to competitor’s sites or commingling of competitor sites or links thereto on any REALTOR.com® page. Display ads that direct the REALTOR.com® user, to competing sites such as, mortgage, title or escrow companies is not permitted. For example; The ‘Homes and Land’ ad may not include a link to their Find a Home section, it may only ask the consumer to subscribe to their magazine.
