8 Basic SEO Tips for Your Website
Here are eight simple SEO tips to help improve your website structure, search visibility, and overall user experience.
1. Meta Title
Create your page title using relevant keywords and your farming area. Do not use generic titles like “Home Page,” “Index Page,” or only your name.
Use different titles on different pages so your website has a better chance of appearing for different search phrases. Keep each title under 70 characters.
2. Meta Keywords
Use your keywords in your page title, description, and content. Do not use the same keywords on every page of your website.
Each page should target a specific topic and keyword set to improve your exposure in search engines. Keep your keyword list under 10 per page so the message stays focused.

3. Meta Description
Your meta description should tell both visitors and search engines what the page is about.
Search engines often display the meta description below your page title in search results, so make it clear and useful. Like your titles and keywords, each page should have a unique description.
Keep your description at 150 characters or less.
4. Content
Real estate marketing software for photographers can help drive traffic, but your website content still needs to clearly support the topic of each page.
Your content should closely match your title, keywords, and description. Stay on topic and avoid overusing keywords. Search engines are much better at understanding related terms and overall meaning, so you do not need to repeat the same phrase over and over to be indexed properly.
5. Anchor Text Linking
When linking to internal pages on your website or pages outside your website, use clear anchor text.
Anchor text helps search engines understand what the linked page is about. Instead of using vague text like “click here,” use descriptive wording that reflects the destination page.
6. Internal Linking
Make sure your internal links open in the same browser window and use anchor text whenever possible.
Opening a new window for every page on your own website can frustrate visitors and make the site feel less professional. Also, limit the use of images as links and use text-based navigation when possible.
7. Website Organization
Property website software for real estate photographers works best when information is organized clearly and each page has a specific purpose.
Structure your website around clear topics and dedicate one page to each topic. Do not try to explain everything on one page.
Your homepage should introduce your business and guide visitors to the most important sections of your site. Think of it as a link portal to deeper information, not a place to overwhelm visitors with everything at once.
8. Website Navigation
Your website navigation should be simple, organized, and easy to read.
If your website has many pages, group them into categories and provide one heading for every four or five page links in your left navigation. This helps visitors quickly understand what information is available.
If you list too many links in one long menu, visitors may feel overwhelmed and leave the site.
